(STATS) - McNeese and LSU have scheduled a game at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge on Sept. 11, 2021, the schools announced Tuesday.

LSU won the only other completed meeting, 32-10 on Oct. 16, 2010. They started a game in 2015, but inclement weather forced its cancelation early in the first quarter.

"The chance to play LSU is a special opportunity," McNeese athletic director Bruce Hemphill said. "We're excited for the chance to play against one of the elite college football programs in the country in one of the best college football settings."

Last week, McNeese announced another future game, the 2019 season and home opener against Southern.
