Point guard Jordan Walker to attend Seton Hall

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) Point guard Jordan Walker of the Patrick School has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Seton Hall.

Pirates coach Kevin Willard announced the decision Thursday.

Walker helped the Patrick School win the 2017 New Jersey Tournament of Champions, averaging 11.9 points and 4.8 assists for the season. He is the fifth player to commit to join Seton Hall next season, joining freshmen Myles Cale of Middletown, Delaware; Darnell Brodie of Newark, New Jersey; and Sandro Mamukelashvili of the Republic of Georgia. Junior college transfer Romaro Gill of Jamaica also will play for the Pirates next season.

Willard, entering his eighth season, has led the Pirates to back-to-back 20-win seasons and NCAA Tournament appearances.
