(STATS) - Southern Utah and Utah announced Wednesday their football teams will meet for the third time in 2024 in Salt Lake City.

Utah won the first-ever matchup, 24-0 last Sept. 1 at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The two programs also have agreed to a game in 2022.

"We are thrilled to get another opportunity to play the University of Utah," said SUU coach Demario Warren, whose Big Sky Conference team was 6-5 in his first season last year. "Our players love to play against the best programs in the nation and playing in Rice-Eccles Stadium is an awesome experience. We look forward to the challenge and continued relationship with the University of Utah."
