How to watch Washington vs Rutgers online: Live stream, TV channel info, time.

Washington starts the season with a Heisman Trophy candidate and a goal of returning to the College Football Playoff.

The Huskies went 12-2 last year, winning the Pac-12 before losing the Alabama in the CFP semifinals. They are led by Jake Browning, who threw 43 touchdown passes last season.

The defense will be without linebacker Azeem Victor for the Rutgers game. Victor won't play because he is suspended for one game for violating team rules.

Rutgers is coming off a season where it went 2-10, and have lost nine games in a row.

The Scarlet Knights were shut out four times in 2016, and has brought in former Minnesota coach Jerry Kill as the new offensive coordinator and fifth-year senior Kyle Bolin, a transfer from Louisville, will take the reins as the starting quarterback.
