The University of Washington will be eyeing its second Pac-12 title in three years when the No. 16 Huskies take on the No. 17 Utah Utes at Levi Stadium on Friday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. EST.

Washington (9–3) is coming off of a 28–15 win over then–No. 8 ranked Washington State. Running back Myles Gaskin led the way on offense, rushing for 170 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. The Huskies' defense put on a particularly strong outing recording two takeaways alongside two sacks and allowing just 65 yards rushing to Washington State's James Williams. The unit is ranked eighth in the nation in scoring defense at 16.5 points per game and has a top–20 rushing defense that has allowed 121.8 yards per game on the ground.

Utah (9–3) also enter's Friday's matchup off of a win, defeating BYU 35–27 in their last outing. Quarterback Jason Shelley threw for 141 yards and a score while also racking up 61 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Running back Armand Shyne added two more rushing scores.

Washington defeated Utah 21–7 in Salt Lake City back on Sept. 15.
