No. 5 Oklahoma will play for its ninth Big 12 championship title when the Sooners meet No. 14 Texas on Saturday at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon ET.
Oklahoma (11–1) has playoff hopes hanging in the balance heading into Saturday's matchup. The Sooners are coming off of a 59–56 win over No. 16 West Virginia, a victory led by Kyler Murray's 364 passing yards and three touchdowns. Murray also rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown, while running back Kennedy Brooks added 114 yards and a score. All eyes will be on the Sooners' defense, however, as the unit has given up an average of 47.2 points over the last four games.
Texas (9–3) is coming off of a 24–17 win over Kansas. Sam Ehlinger threw for 152 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for another score. Ehlinger registered five of his 34 touchdowns this season against the Sooners, scoring three times on the ground, and will be looking to continue that success on Saturday.
In their regular season meeting, the Longhorns outlasted the Sooners 48–45.
