Duke Climbs to No. 1 in Latest AP Poll, Kansas Drops to No. 5

Kansas fell from No. 1 to No. 5 in the latest AP top 25 rankings after losing to Arizona State.

Duke, Michigan and Tennessee are the three highest-ranked teams in the latest AP top 25 poll. Kansas, which was the top-ranked school last week, fell to No. 5 following an 80–76 loss to then-No. 18 Arizona State.

Duke returned to the top spot in the rankings after earning 35 first-place votes. Tennessee, ranked third behind Michigan, tallied the second-most first-place votes (12) after adding two more wins over the past week.

No. 20 NC State and 25 Oklahoma are the two additions to this week's poll. The Wolfpack knocked off then-No. 7 Auburn in an upset this past week.
