LSU Takes Top Spot in College Football Playoff Rankings

After its stunning win over rival Alabama, LSU moved up to No. 1 in the second week of the College Football Playoff rankings.

Ohio State slid down to No. 2, while Clemson came in at No. 3 and Georgia finished at No. 4. LSU has never reached the College Football Playoff. Ohio State is slated for its third appearance, while Clemson can reach its fifth Playoff in 2019. Georgia is seeking its second trip to the Playoff after finishing fifth in the final rankings last season.
