Look: Every Snap Arch Manning Took in Texas’s Spring Football Game

After months of anticipation and fanfare, Arch Manning made his long-awaited first appearance as a Longhorn on Saturday when he took the field for Texas’s annual Orange-White spring game.

Manning, donning a No. 16 burnt orange jersey, joined fellow quarterbacks Quinn Ewers and Maalik Murphy in putting on a show for the Texas faithful for the first time in his collegiate career. But, of course, the much-hyped freshman’s showing commanded a bit more attention given his famous family.

From the moment Manning entered the game for the Orange team’s second drive, Longhorns fans made their appreciation for the highly touted freshman known with a big ovation.

On the day, Manning completed five of 13 pass attempts for 30 yards in an eventual 21-10 win for the White team.

Meantime, Ewers looked sharp heading into his second season with the Longhorns. The former Ohio State QB connected on 16 of 23 attempts for 195 yards and one touchdown Saturday, leading coach Steve Sarkisian to name him the Longhorns’ starter.
