Michael Penix Jr. on Washington to Big Ten: ‘They Better Be Ready’

Michael Penix Jr. has the Huskies riding high.

Michael Penix Jr. made his case for the Heisman in a thrilling back-and-forth matchup against No. 8 Oregon on Saturday.

Penix threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns to lead No. 7 Washington to a 36–33 comeback victory in their biggest game of the season so far, moving the Huskies to 6–0 on the season and putting them in good position to make the Pac-12 Championship Game later in the year.

After the game, Penix delivered a warning to the Big Ten, where the Huskies would be playing next season after finishing out their stint in the Pac-12 this year: "They better be ready."

Michael Penix Jr. was asked if he thinks Big Ten fans appreciate what they're getting with Oregon and Washington.

Penix's work this year isn't done yet, as the Huskies still have four opponents that are currently ranked left on their schedule for the season.
