Oregon’s Throwback Jersey Announcement Had College Football Fans Fired Up

Oregon will be throwing it back to 1994 with its jersey choice for the Ducks’ upcoming clash against Washington State

The Ducks announced on Wednesday that the football team will be donning its iconic throwback uniforms from the ‘94 season during Saturday’s tilt.

The old school green and yellow uniforms are best remembered for the game-winning 97-yard interception return by Kenny Wheaton against Washington in ‘94.

Saturday’s game against the Cougars will be one day before the 29-year anniversary of Wheaton’s iconic interception, and Oregon will be paying tribute to that legendary moment with its uniform choice against their Pac-12 rivals.

The Ducks released a hype video to announce their uniforms for the game, and fans were fired up to hear that the beloved yellow helmets and old-school University of Oregon logo will be back in action.
