Clemson’s Tyler Brown Evokes Odell Beckham Jr. With Epic One-Handed Catch

Clemson freshman wideout Tyler Brown made one of the best catches of the 2023 college football season in the second quarter of the Tigers’ showdown against visiting Georgia Tech on Saturday.

With the game tied 7-7, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik lofted a pass toward Brown in the front right corner of the end zone. Brown snatched the high pass out of the air, with one hand, giving the Tigers the lead.

The epic catch was reminiscent of NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.’s famous one-handed catch for the Giants against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in 2014.

Brown, a product of Greenville, S.C., entered the game tied with Beaux Collins and Jake Briningstool for the team lead with 33 receptions this season.

The Tigers, who are looking to build off their impressive win over No. 22 Notre Dame last week, lead the Yellow Jackets 21-7 in the third quarter.
