UCLA QB Dante Moore Set to Transfer After Just One Season, per Report

Freshman UCLA quarterback Dante Moore is entering the transfer portal, according to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports. After just one season, the former five-star recruit is hitting the open market and will be one of the most sought-after signal-callers this offseason.

Moore was the third-best quarterback in the 2023 recruiting class, per 247Sports, and was the highest-ranked quarterback signee in the program’s history. He was also the first five-star recruit to sign with UCLA under coach Chip Kelly.

The 6’ 3” quarterback finished the season with 1,610 passing yards, 11 touchdown passes and nine interceptions in his nine games played. He only started five games, though, and the team ended the year with junior Ethan Garbers under center.
