LSU’s Malik Nabers Vents After Marvin Harrison Jr. Wins Biletnikoff Award By One Vote

Editors’ note: Dec. 9, 9:45 p.m. ET. This article has been updated to clarify that the Biletnikoff Award honors the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver regardless of position.

LSU wideout Mailk Nabers is not happy about losing out on the 2023 Biletnikoff Award to Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who won by just one vote on Friday night.

The award, which honors the college football season’s outstanding FBS receiver, saw a tie for the closest voting margin in Biletnikoff Award history.

Harrison just edged out the competition, including Nabers, and the Tigers star took to social media to note the perceived disrespect.

“REMEMBER THAT!! So disrespectful,” Nabers posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Nabers, who became LSU’s all-time career leader in receptions, notched 86 catches for 1,564 yards and 14 touchdowns this season.

Harrison, who will be among the finalists for the Heisman Trophy in New York City on Saturday night, hauled in 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns this season for the Buckeyes.

Harrison, widely considered a top NFL talent, has yet to announce whether he will return to Columbus for his senior season or enter the 2024 NFL draft.
