Caitlin Clark's historic college basketball career concluded Sunday with Iowa's 87–75 defeat against South Carolina in the women’s NCAA championship. Despite coming up short of a title victory, Clark was shown love from all corners of the sports world after the game as fans and fellow athletes celebrated her career.

The 22-year-old captivated the nation with sensational performances throughout her career, helping to grow women's college basketball and put a spotlight on the sport. Her legendary four-year run with the Hawkeyes didn't culminate in a ring, but she set a new standard for greatness in the sport and shattered various records in the process.

After South Carolina coach Dawn Staley set the tone with a heartfelt message for Clark in her postgame interview in which she thanked her for lifting up the sport of women's basketball, the sports world followed suit, voicing their appreciation for Clark's dominant career across social media.
