Stan Drayton's Temple Owls announced new additions to the 2024 signing class this past week. Included in that group were 11 players who transferred in for the Winter semester.

One of the more notable additions in that group was 6'2", 220-pound transfer linebacker Tyquan King. Temple will be King's third stop in college after previous stops at North Carolina A&T and East Carolina.

King had a limited role at ECU in 2023, appearing in only three games. He had one tackle in that time.

In 2022 as a sophomore at North Carolina A&T, King totaled 93 tackles with 5.5 tackles for a loss. He also had an interception and broke up three passes that season. In his 2021 freshman campaign with the Bulldogs, King had 33 tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.

King will have two seasons of eligibility remaining with the Owls.
