Another Mid-American Conference team formally announced their spring schedule on Thursday.

The Western Michigan Broncos will begin spring practices on Monday, March 18. They will have 14 total days of practice before their annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 20 at Waldo Stadium. Kickoff time has yet to be announced.

This offseason, the Broncos signed the second-ranked recruiting class in the MAC, per 247Sports composite rankings. April 20 will be the first opportunity for WMU fans to see many of those players in action, including the defensive line transfer duo of Anterio Thompson (Iowa) and Popeye Williams (Louisville), and former four-star receiver Bugs Mortimer (ULM transfer).

Western Michigan finished the 2023 season with a record of 4-8 in their first year under head coach Lance Taylor. The Broncos will open the 2024 regular season on August 31 at Wisconsin.
