Most set to compete have verbally committed and/or signed with top programs from coast to coast, but a half-dozen are set to make announcements during the game. Thursday began with the major news of a prospect no longer going public with a pick.

As first reported by SI All-American, featured perhaps the most coveted prospect in the game Zach Evans. The Texas native, who said he signed a National Letter of Intent in December with plans to reveal the choice this week, is no longer set to make an announcement. Georgia has been considered the leader in the clubhouse although the running back has yet to publicly say as much. LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama and others are technically in the race, too.
