Jahneil Douglas Shot Dead Tuesday Night

A University of Toledo Football defensive lineman Jahneil Douglas was killed last night in a shooting in Toledo. He was 22 years old. 

Detectives say at about 11:30 pm there was a fight between two men outside of Gino's Pizza in west Toledo when shots were fired. Douglas was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. No arrests have been made as of yet.

Douglas was an upcoming junior at the University of Toledo. He appeared in seven games for the Rockets last season, recording one tackle. A graduate of Start High School, he was a high school first-team AP All-Ohio honoree in 2016.
