The University of Arizona has been charged with 9 violations in a Notice of Allegations, Sports Illustrated’s Pat Forde confirmed Sunday.

The news, first reported by The Athletic, could have big ramifications with the men’s basketball program and specifically head coach Sean Miller.

In the Notice of Allegations, received by the program last week, Miller violated head coach control responsibility while the athletic department faces a lack of institutional control. Five of the charges are considered Level One, the most severe.

UA's issues could result in postseason bans or even a full-season suspension for Miller. He faced a brief suspension in 2018 after the large scale federal wiretap case brought considerable NCAA basketball violations to light.
