Bizarre Injury Of The Day

Bazooka

This has been quite a spring training for bizarre injuries, and the hits keep coming. A's outfielder Michael Taylor is on the shelf after cutting his pinky while trying to throw away a piece of gum.

Costly Omission

At yesterday's Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship game, fan Alex Permann participated in one of those pregame contests in which he had to make a layup, free throw, three-pointer and half-court shot in 24 seconds to win $50,000. He made the layup, free throw and half-court shot, but forgot to make the three-pointer. Though he missed out on the 50 grand, he was rewarded with a year's supply of pizza and donuts.

Delicious Dish

While everyone is flipping out today about DeAndre Jordan's dunk on Brandon Knight last night, I'll take this pass from Suns rookie Kendall Marshall.

Lovely Lady Of The Day

Italian fashion model and TV personality Elisabetta Gregoraci gets today's LLOD honors. (Thanks to Lee Michaelas, of London, for the tip.)

Ticked Off Tom

Indiana coach Tom Creancelebrated yesterday's one-point win over Michigan by yelling at Wolverines assistant coach Jeff Meyer.

Tattoo Of The Day

The Lions haven't had much success throughout their history, but that didn't stop this fan from covering the side of his torso.

Sports Video Of The Day

A furry little animal made its presence known during yesterday's FC Thun-FC Zurich soccer game. High comedy (and a bite) ensued. And props to whoever put the video on YouTube and added the Benny Hill music.

How To Get Phone Numbers Video Of The Day

Pretty impressive plan.
