'Spinning Arm Bar' Arrest Of The Day
Oklahoma quarterback Kendal Thompson was scooped up for public intoxication early this morning. According to the affidavit, police were responding to a loud party and found him sleeping on his side, snoring on a hill. After the cops struggled to wake him up, the affidavit states: "He continued not to obey commands and I grabbed his right arm and completed a spinning arm bar to take the defendant to the ground." You can see his mugshot here. And, for the icing on the cake, Thompson was only four days from his 21st birthday.
