The Chicago Cubs famously refuse to employ a mascot, but apparently that wasn't always the case. This image, making the rounds on Reddit and seemingly originating in this collection of old Chicago pics, depicts a classic Cubs mascot that doesn't live up to the stereotype of baby bears being cute.
