Liverpool's Andre Wisdom Leaves Porsche in Pool of Mud on Way to Stadium
From the department of ironic names: Liverpool's Andre Wisdom, who is on loan at Derby County, drove his Porsche into a mud pit on his way to work.
How does something like this happen without alcohol? Well, there's rain, a lot of it. There's also dirt, a gullible soccer player, and what we'll call an ornery GPS system.
New to Derby, the captain of England's under-21 national team didn't know how to get to his home stadium, Pride Park, from a hotel and used his navigation system. It led him down a muddy trail in the boondocks and Wisdom decided to follow the trail until his Porsche was stuck in mud.
Wisdom finally ditched his car and, most importantly, made it to his match on time.
