It's an optical illusion. The gorgeous kitchen, complete with an island and granite countertops, does appear on the wall at Goodyear Park where the Indians faced the Reds on Wednesday, but it's just a large advertisement, not some crazy experimental obstacle.
Home builder K. Hovnanian Homes is responsible for the clever visual that appears on the right field wall.
By the way, Indians outfielder Carlos Moncrief did make the grab at the warning track, despite the apparent risk of smashing into a stainless steel fridge.
