Two women were injured after the Bruins game yesterday when the pole holding up the protective netting behind one of the goals fell:

The patrons were two women in their 20s who sustained minor injuries from the falling netting, police said. The Boston Fire Department received a report of the net down with injuries at about 9:40 p.m., but the call was canceled before they arrived at the TD Garden, said Steve MacDonald, a Fire Department spokesman.

TD Garden subsequently released a statement claiming they were "investigating the incident."
