Fresno State sending a 6'9" get well card to Pacers' Paul George

Fresno State is sending a gigantic get well card to alum Paul George after he broke his leg during a Team USA scrimmage.

Paul George's injury hit close to home for the Fresno State community, with George being the highest profile athlete to come out of the school in some time, so the Athletic department decided to show their support by having a Paul George-sized get well card made.

The 6'9" card has been collecting signatures at the campus bookstore before it is shipped off to Indiana at the end of the week where the Pacers will present it to the recovering George.

Associate athletic director Paul Ludwig told the Fresno Bee that the school wanted to give something back to the athlete for all his help over the years.

"Paul has meant so much to us since he has left. Every time we've called him to say could you do this for us or shoot this promo for us, Paul has been there for us. We just want him to know we're there for him."
