Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw accepts pitch-off challenge from 13-year old Mo'Ne Davis

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw has accepted a challenge from 13-year old female Little league pitcher Mo'Ne Davis for a Pitch-Off.

The two hottest pitchers in America have agreed to a "pitch-off" as Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw has accepted the gauntlet thrown down by Little League star Mo'Ne Davis.

Kershaw told CBS Sports he would be happy to take Davis on.

“Hey Mo'ne, just wanted to say congratulations on making it [to] Williamsport. That's awesome, such a cool thing for you to get to do. Such a fun opportunity and I heard you're ready for a pitch off. I don't know exactly what that means, but I'm prepared. I'm ready for whenever you can make it out to LA, just let me know.”

Davis made headlines last week when she threw a three-hitter to send her team to the Mid-Atlantic region title and a spot in the Little League World Series, becoming just the 18th girl to play in the tourney. On Friday, she became the first girl to throw a shutout at the tournament

The 13-year old has had her fastball clocked at 70 mph, while Kershaw isn't even good enough to knock an apple off Jimmy Kimmel's head, so this will be a pretty interesting matchup if it happens.
