Stanley Cup was the bucket for a Kings coach's Ice Bucket Challenge

The Los Angles Kings goaltending coach Bill Ranford used the Stanley Cup as the bucket for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, while his nephew used the Calder Cup.

This is not the first time this summer the Cup has been a part of the fundraising sensation, as team strength and conditioning coach Ryan Van Asten used it to pour cold water on a friend of his whom has ALS.

Charles Barkley takes three buckets in the Ice Bucket Challenge
Considering the Stanley Cup is essentially a bucket that spends a lot of its time in and around ice, it is the perfect vessel for this challenge.
