EA Sports' NBA Live 15 trailer makes amends for last year's graphics

EA Sports has released the first trailer for NBA Live 15, and boy, does it look much better than NBA Live 14:

Credit goes to the NBA Live team, which surely worked hard to improve on last edition’s graphics, which were so bad it turned the game into the butt of jokes, eventually leading to an apology from executive producer Sean O’Brien.

In a statement that came with the trailer, EA Sports wants to clarify to fans that “the video is composed of completely in-game footage, and every dribble, shot, dunk and move is something fans will be able to pull off themselves in the game.”

The footage in the game not only shows much-improved visuals, but also smoother and more realistic animations, such as Nate Robinson’s three-goggle celebration. The guys at EA have impressed thesneakerheadcrew, too.

NBA Live 15 is scheduled to hit stores on October 7, the same day as arch-nemesis NBA 2K15.
