Seahawks coach Pete Carroll took a shift at a Starbucks

Wednesday September 17th, 2014

It didn't matter that Pete Carroll's team lost a difficult game to the San Diego Chargers this past weekend. The Seahawks head coach was more than happy to serve everyone coffee back in Seattle on Tuesday.

Carroll and other Seahawks players surprised a flock of '12s' -- the colloquial name for Seattle fans -- who passed through a local Starbucks, by serving up mochas and macchiatos to unsuspecting consumers.

The gag was part of an effort to support A Better Seattle, a foundation Carroll started to support at-risk youth.

No word on what Carroll's favorite drink is, or whether he'll be peering out of any other drive through windows later in the season.
