Kentucky coach John Calipari raffled off free beds for students who have been camping out in advance of the school's annual Big Blue Madness festivities to start off the season.

Kentucky coach John Calipari gave away free beds for students who have been camping out in advance of the school's annual Big Blue Madness festivities to start off the season.

The students didn't just get the standard, less-comfortable-than-the-ground blow up mattresses either. The five students with the shabbiest sleeping conditions got full size Tempur-Pedic beds to sleep on as they counted down to the first team practice of the year.

Coach Cal also relays how he got the school's new dorms the luxury beds by asking for whatever Alabama's football players slept on, which is as clever as it is hilarious.
