Madison Bumgarner double-fists beers behind Tim Hudson interview

The San Francisco Giants clinched a postseason berth on Thursday night and naturally partook in the traditional alcohol-dousing celebration.

Starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner took the party to a new level. As fellow starter Tim Hudson was being interviewed for television, Bumgarner unwittingly was double-fisting beers in the background of the shot. (It's kind of tough to spot in the GIF, but the photo above captures it well.)

It should be noted that while GIF provider @carmenkiew labeled Bumgarner's actions as shotgunning, the photo doesn't appear to indicate he was doing that.

Bottom line, no matter what exact drinking technique Bumgarner was employing, he was drinking a lot of cheap beer and getting a lot of it all over himself.

There's no word on if Bumgarner or any other pitchers mimicked division mate Yasiel Puig's celebration by opening beers with their mouths.
