With hockey season just underway, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to energize their fan base, and what better way to do so than with a new video starring Leafs fan and Toronto native Will Arnett talking about what it means to root for the team.

After missing the playoffs last season with a record of 38-36-8, the team is choosing to focus on its storied history, which dates to the club's founding in 1917.

The team held a fan festival before its opening game loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, which was attended by many of its die-hard fans, and a cat.
