Your reminder from Les Miles on how to celebrate Columbus Day

Monday October 13th, 2014

A year ago today, LSU head coach Les Miles gave a perfect explanation of Columbus Day and how to celebrate it properly, and Extra Mustard has decided to pass the wisdom on to you again this year.

Miles starts off the press conference with his words of wisdom by reminding all in attendance that the day is for people who "know Italians, or like Italians, or the people who might venture onto a ship and travel to explore new lands."

He continues with the sage advice that Columbus Day is not St. Patrick's Day, which is a common mistake throughout the country, as people are constantly getting October and March mixed up.

So follow Miles advice and be sure not to celebrate any other cultures by accident.
