Colin Kaepernick put tape over Beats logo to avoid another fine

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick loves his Beats by Dre headphones, but the NFL's new deal with Bose means he cannot wear them after games without incurring a stiff fine, so he tossed some masking tape over the logo to avoid another $10,000 fine.

After leading the team to a comeback victory against the St. Louis Rams on Monday night, Kaepernick spoke with the media with a pair of pink headphones around his neck much like the previous week, only this time pieces of white tape covered the company's logo, hopefully avoiding the ire of the league and its corporate sponsors.

Kaepernick has an endorsement deal with Beats but it seems the company will not be following the Nike/Michael Jordan route and paying the quarterback's fines in order for him to continue promoting the company.
