If you did a ranking of the college basketball coaches most likely to ride a Humvee, Syracuse's Jim Boeheim probably wouldn't be anywhere near the top, but it turns out the 69-year-old is full of surprises.

Boeheim entered Syracuse's Orange Madness in grand style on Friday night, coming out of the smoke-filled tunnel in a Humvee and wearing an army helmet as Bruce Springsteen's "Born In the U.S.A." blared in the background.

It doesn't really get any better than that.

When you lose your leading scorer and two other players to the NBA and your school gets called for a hearing before the NCAA's Committee on Infractions, sometimes the best medicine is taking the most patriotic drive onto a basketball court possible.

Well done, Jim. Syracuse's season is already a success.
