Michigan State fans paint Michigan landmark green

Wednesday October 22nd, 2014

Michigan State fans have succeeded in vandalizing the block M in the center of intrastate rival Michigan's campus, painting the brass letter Spartan green and also adding "S-U" for good measure.

Michigan and Michigan State face off in East Lansing on Saturday, and the two fanbases have made a tradition of attempting to deface landmarks on their rival's campus, with the Wolverines once adding maize and blue flourishes to the Spartan statue at MSU.

The block M is generally guarded from its cross-state nemesis by Ann Arbor's Theta Xi fraternity, but the Spartans fans seem to have found a way through the defenses early Wednesday morning.
