The Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League have decided to mark the end of election season with a promotion celebrating the losers.

Fans who bring a piece of junk mail from a losing candidate will get a one-dollar discount on their ticket. Bringing a lawn sign from a losing candidate is worth three dollars. Candidates from 10 Iowa counties who lost their races are entitled to free tickets.

Anyone who bought tickets at the box office on Election Day while wearing an "I Voted" sticker will get a discount on two tickets for a total of $20.
