Charlie Strong's Texas tenure has so far been marked by a strict culture change, including the dismissal of nine players since he took over in January, but coach has a new message: he's also not afraid to have fun.
The Longhorns got a big win Saturday with a 33-16 upset over No. 23 West Virginia, so naturally Strong celebrated his best victory as Texas coach by crowd surfing in the locker room afterward.
Asked later about the impromptu celebration, Strong said, "I just walked in there and they grabbed me."
Maybe so, but it sure seems like he embraced it.
