Mexico gets accidental revenge on Netherlands for World Cup loss

Wednesday November 12th, 2014

Mexico squared off Wednesday against the Netherlands side that sent them home from the World Cup in heartbreaking, and possibly underhanded, fashion. And El Tri got some rough, early revenge on the Dutch team in the form of an accidental boot from Chicharito to the face of Dutch defender Jetro Willems.

Netherlands were awarded a free kick but no card was given and Willems remained in the game after the incident.

The people of Mexico are still upset with the way in which the national team was sent home from last summer's tournament, and have even turned the flopping of Arjen Robben into a treat by making the striker into a piñata.
