Minor league hockey team giving away free prostate exams
November is men's health awareness month and the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms are doing their part to encourage men to stay healthy. Every guy who buys a ticket to Saturday's game will be entitled to a free prostate exam.
The Phantoms are not the first minor league hockey team to use prostate exams to entice fans to come out to the arena. Last weekend, an executive for the Milwaukee Admirals had a prostate exam done during the second intermission. The moment was shown on the arena's video boards and posted on YouTube.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans, a Class A baseball team, went a step further. Their GM had the exam done while singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
Phantoms fans will not be examined during the game. Instead, two local doctors' offices will open their doors in the week after the game. Fans just need to bring their ticket stub to receive the discount.
