Stephen Colbert takes on St. Louis police, Rams fight

Tuesday December 2nd, 2014

The Colbert Report spent some time on the St. Louis Rams Ferguson protest and the St. Louis Police Association's response on Monday night.

Stephen Colbert poked fun at the union's claim that the Rams players walking on to the field in the "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" pose was "tasteless, offensive and inflammatory" by wondering why nothing was being done about fans and officials adopting similar poses throughout the game.

The Rams have spoken with the police department about the actions but the two sides are now arguing over whether their conversations so far have constituted an apology from the team or not.
