Derek Jeter's replacement drew a cool sketch of Derek Jeter

Didi Gregorius probably had no idea when he drew a sketch of Derek Jeter that he'd one day be asked to replace the Yankee captain as New York York's shortstop.

Gregorius' depiction of Jeter is very bald and kinda fat, but it's still a nice gesture.
Gregorius was acquired by the Yankees in a three-team deal on Friday, and while GM Brian Cashman says he'll split time with Brendan Ryan at shortstop to start, he's expected to be the long-term answer for the Yankees.
In addition to his skills as a baseball player, Gregorius apparently fancies himself something of an artist. His Twitter page is full of sketches he's made.

Now that he's playing in New York, maybe he can hang some of his drawings in the Met.
