Rice running back Jayson Carter, who stands 4-foot-9 and weighs 140 pounds, got some playing time during yesterday's Hawaii Bowl victory over Fresno State. Carter was born with a genetic disorder that stunted his growth and had been on the Owls' scout team his first three seasons.
