On Monday night the Senators took on the Sabres and near the end of the first period, Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta and Ottawa's Jared Cowen got into a skirmish. While that would generally not be noteworthy, Kaleta's unconventional fighting strategy was.

It is hard to keep everything straight during all the chaos of a fight, but it is important to make sure you don't accidentally punch yourself in the head. If that is not the first rule of fighting it is probably in the top ten.

The entire Sabres team probably feels like hitting themselves after losing 5-2 to the Senators with Bobby Ryan picking up a hat trick.
