Ovie the Bulldog travels to Washington for Winter Classic

After a 3.5-day drive from San Diego, Ovie the Bulldog has made it to Washington for Thursday's Winter Classic.

Ovie, quite possibly the biggest Washington Capitals fan and most definitely the biggest Caps fan with paws, came with his owner, Mike Robertson for the NHL's annual regular-season showcase. Ovie has already met his namesake, Caps star Alex Ovechkin, and a variety of other star players. Now, he'll get to soak in the Winter Classic for the first time.

The Caps will host the Chicago Blackhawks at Nationals Park, home of Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals.

That's a pretty long trek for Ovie, but luckily (especially for Robertson), "he's pretty good in the car."
