This is a big week for earthquakes in sports. First, scientists announce they're preparing for another Marshawn Lynch "Beast Quake" in Seattle. Then, a tremor strikes the Dallas area six days before the College Football Playoff championship game.

The earth's crust is ready for some football. 

The championship game between Oregon and Ohio State kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET on Jan. 12 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Ducks and Buckeyes have both proved nearly unstoppable this season. A natural disaster is about the only thing that could hold them down.
