Nike's viral coin flip photo isn't from the title game coin toss

Nike tweeted this awesome photo of what seemed to be the pregame coin toss at the national championship game, only it wasn't taken during Monday's game.

As Deadspin and SB Nation have pointed out, the numbers on the jerseys in the Nike ad are not the same as ones the players who actually participated in the coin toss were wearing.

Nike's original tweet was re-tweeted over 3,000 times. ESPN reporter Don Van Natta also tweeted the photo. His tweet was re-tweeted more than 3,500 times. The photo even sparked parodies

The photo is certainly impressive, but it must have been staged before the actual coin toss.
