Remember 50 Cent's terrible-yet-instant-classic first pitch he threw out before a New York Mets game in May?

The pitch was so great that he got an award for it. MLB Network sent him a trophy and everything for it being voted the "Most Memorable First Pitch" of 2014.

And yes, that's a thing. It's part of the network's social media awards, which also include categories such as "Best #TBT," "Best Selfie" and "Socially Savvy Rookie."

50 Cent didn't seem overly thrilled with the honor based on his caption, but hey, that's a sweet trophy. And he did beat out some pretty stiff competition.
